ACTORS WANTED FOR NEW FORUM PRODUCTION - The Body of Bobby

The Millennium Forum is seeking local actors (aged 17 +) to perform in the winning play of its recent 25th Anniversary Paul Diamond New Writers Award.   Written by Derry playwright, Gary Breslin, The Body Of Bobby is a brand new play that took top prize in the year-long project and will now be staged at the Millennium Forum in October this year.

The Forum is now holding auditions to fill a number of lead roles for the play which will be directed by Kieran Griffiths (The White Handkerchief).   They include: 

Marie – Mother late 30’s/40’s

Brendan – Dead Father so was killed when he was 27 years old

Conor – Son – Teens (playing age 14 - 17 years)

Jitters – Teen Boy (playing age 14 - 17 years)

Patsy – Teen Boy (playing age 14 - 17 years)

Fiona – Teen Girl (playing age 14 - 17 years)

The submission deadline is Sat 20th June 2026. Auditions will take place at the Millennium Forum on Sat 27th June from 10am with rehearsals running each weekend (Fri-Sun) for 5/6 weeks beginning in late August and continuing throughout September.  The production will run at the Millennium Forum from Thurs 8th until Sat 10th Oct.
